park n loopy revision again

Post by shimmyrule »

The infamous dundee east do, aftr the xmas debacle, is undergoing "another" revision right now, new glosssy literature adorns the wall, input is reuired, and its all go, my arse!
According to our latest edinburgh dom(40 p a mile, plus travelling time times 3 doms, soon to be 4, all travelling 60 miles here an back a day thank you, and never doing a full day cause they "manage" 2 offices)the last revision cocked up because................................wait for it, georoute/pegasus didnt take into account all delivery points had driveways!!!!!!!

Well, the edinburgh mafia are devious, they come out in there cars, they spy, they lie prostrate over the front seats of there cars, they track us with pdas, they bully, harrass, they prep test, they time, they force folk into doing overtime.
This is the worst i have ever seen a management team, constant snidey comments about work rate/volumes etc, and some folk are questioned about claiming ot, !!!!!!

After 4 months, and 99% of walks failing 6 days a week, they still reckon we are all at it.NOTHINGS GONNA CHANGE HERE,and we are about to get an old manager back, a sacking manager, who ripped the heart from the place a few years back.
Gloomy times ahead here, and a lot of guys had better watch their backs, and we still aint got our due money for revision, apparantely, its on a stage 3 disaagreement, like the many other stage 3 disagreements, and its "going nationally".
The cwu, useless .black and white, signed off between dom and rep, and still, nae cash.
Seemingly , the cash debate is all about whos entitled to the money, the part timers who were made up before the revision, do they get pro rata, or the full amount, who knows!!!

Just the same in our office too.
Most duties can be done if you come in early, dont take your meal break and run round.
And no you cant claim overtime until the end of the week(just in case you have a quiet day :arrrghhh )
Bullying has never been worse.
Thanks for this CWU.

Can i suggest something regarding claiming overtime there is no such thing as a 40 hour week whilst claiming overtime it is a 8 hour day so if you work over 1 day claim it, if you finish early go back to office till your time if need be, but always claim every day, just ask them, they tried and failed in our office last year but we succeeded, we lapse most days but we all claim overtime, payback.

Bloody Hell Shimmey, I expect to see all you Dundee posties painted in Blue wode charging into the CWU meeting being led by Mel Gibson (with an atrocious Scots accent) sounds like your having a right old time of it up there.

To take a leaf out of an old Gordon Highlander RSMs book, tell them to GTF "Get T f**k!" :Very Happy

Phone the police and tell them you think you are going to be robbed as someone appears to be following you :cool
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Take a camera out with you, put it in Date mode, and film every event that you think could be a Royal Mail spy. Get a picture of the registration plate on the vehicle, phone the plods and tell them that you are concerned that the vehicle may be being used for criminal activities. It,s time to take matters into our own hands and start the fight back, as it is now plainly obvious that we have no protection from the CWU.

This was not covered in BT2010, a whopping big oversight coming from experienced senior CWU officals. :d'oh!

thats the most annoying tning Daz. All that experience, all the negotiating, all the selling of the deal, and they cant get the basics right, christ, lets hope any future deal is read and went over in its entirety, before we get a chance to yay or nay it, its very frustrating.
Aside all that, what happens after a stage 3 disagreement, where the hell does it go, whats the time scale etc?

About 18 months ago i would have said...definitely...it goes to the gate.
Now i think your Branch probably and HQ definitely don't have the bottle but at the end of the day it's your dispute,it involves your members...not the Branch and certainly not HQ.
Where do the members want it to go?

when we had first rvision, about 75% of folk wanted rotating day off, about 10% wanted 4 day weeks, a few wanted 9 day fortnights, a couple 6 day week, but our rep has not argued the case for all of those who didnt want a 5 day wek, i thought the revision was about our choice, our preferred way of working, but none of these scenarios are even been looked at, our rep has another 18 month to go before re-election, this time, hes going, simple as that, hes a mate, but hes simply not defending people, full stop.
