Some on my duty are getting upset with Virgin especially after last week

1. All week a D2D.
2. Monday to Wednesday- A4 size letters
3. Tuesday and Thursday - small postcard size advert
4. Wednesday - Saturday standard C5 letters

Some poor buggers got something from them every day

Why do they also send stuff to addresses that no longer exist, and have not for a decade in one case

Welcome to my world - every day .

On a serious note, it was okay today. More mail than a usual Monday but the now expected scarcity of packets. We tend to get battered on packets on Tuesday as a result, but the mail is usually uber-light which makes it manageable. After a week of complaining about my walk not being thrown out, I had a week last week of bliss, but today it was back to normal with two mech bundles not thrown out - there couldn't have been more than six overall (which would take me half an hour to throw out). Oh well, I'm cutting off if it happens on a heavier day. I finished exactly on time today (as I always do), but that was only through luck (at having one packet per bag and very few recordeds). I dare say if it isn't thrown out tomorrow . . .

Vermin, headed by Richard Branston, has fallen hook, line, and sinker, for all that guff about the power of advertising.
With all the shyte I've had from Vermin down the years, I could have papered the whole of my house at least three times over, and not once, not one single, solitary time, have I ever considered Vermin Broadband, Vermin TV, Vermin Media, or Vermin whatever, not once.

Powerful stuff, advertising.

What makes me laff is TalkTalk - still banging out the D2Ds and DSAs ... yet shedding nearly 600 jobs ...

... and to think that Virgin began as a tiny record shop in Notting Hill Gate ... it's all Mike Oldfield's fault :chuckle

Had a SD for someone wearing Scooby Doo slippers.

I had about 13 bundles. A fair few packets. Finished exactly on time, as usual. If tomorrow proves to be a bugger . . . good. I'll still be finishing exactly on time.
