I don't think I need to comment, my work on this forum seems to be complete and now it's time for my children to go out and spread my dubious humour far and wide.

Another official special priviledge of course, is :

VAT exempt (which is a MASSIVE advatage)

Can you imagine RM paying VAT given all its cash problems?

The change only affects some Royal Mail services. In broad terms, we have to charge VAT on some of our premium services, and on our non-mail and logistics services.

The more popular services which will be liable to VAT are:

Business Collections
Special Delivery™ Next Day (on account only)
Door to Door
Special Delivery™ 9.00am
Timed Delivery
Royal Mail Tracked® and Tracked Next Day
International Airsure® (to EU countries)
Standard parcels when you add additional compensation

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
