Fookin better no be the case..We have had these shares allocated to us since 2007?..Bit cruel if they turn round now and say 'Naw your no getting them '..

I'm not saying you won't get them..i'm saying that BT2010 changed the terms and conditions of the colleague shares.

Or they can keep them another year to see if they go up in value and sell them at that stage

That's the part that may have changed,i think Royal Mail would rather compulsory purchase half this year and half next year rather than have people hanging on to them..
And since the agreement states....

They will be bought back by the company in two equal parts in 2011 and 2012.

...it's going to be hard to argue with them if that's the way they want to go.
It's just an opinion though.

Well just to let you know,

I am, being IHR'd on 25th Feb , and having read this posting, thought i'd better give HR /Payroll a call.

Well the nice lady at payroll said that the shares were still being re valued, and that as an "eligible leaver" I would still get payment when this process had finished.

I checked that this could not be done by my finish date, and she confirmed not, "you along with many others". By the way when they have finished revalueing them, we will be picked up by the computer as "eligible leavers" and the dividends will be paid straight into our bank accounts, with a payslip to follow, giving break down of tax paid etc.

Well I shall be waiting...............and if as those who are better informed let us know that they are revalued(june). Hopefully I won't have to chase them for them.
