Well lets look at the evidence.

2007 Strikes all over the country - interim agreement comes in where RM get the majority of what they wanted - we get a Bung.

2009 Strikes all over the country - interim agreement comes in where RM get the majority of what they wanted - we get a Bung(which we were going to get anyway)

SDD agreement - I was not in then but something tells me that ^^^^^^^^^ is a familar scenario.

Way Forward - sorry getting repetitve now won't bore you any longer.

:chuckle :chuckle :chuckle :chuckle :chuckle

It works that why Royal Mail constantly use it as a fallback position.

If you add the maybe 20% short-sighted to the 20% who always do what HQ say and throw in the 20% who were just terrified that they would have to go back to the gate...you have a clear 60/40 majority.
It doesn't need a rigged ballot or any conspiracy theory and HQ know it.

So the media circus from last year was just a round the country jolly for the unions senior bods, totally unnecessary and at the members expense.....come to think of it why bother sending out the ballot papers, it would have been just as effective to say " to save cash, statistically you would have voted......and so it's carried" :chuckle :chuckle :chuckle

3. Closure of Previous Schemes

a) The Interim Consolidation Scheme ceased at the end of March 2003.

b) All existing PBS supplements, ICS Gainshare, High Performance and Supplementary Quality Payments have been frozen at current levels (defined as the average earned across January to March 2003). These have been used to create a new non-pensionable supplement.

c) The new supplement will be paid including during Christmas (in addition to the normal Christmas ex IWM payment).

d) Where offices have already consolidated ICS/PBS bonus into basic or have new or existing ICS/PBS supplements these will fund up to £5.00 of the £26.28. Where offices have less than the above-mentioned £5, the business will contribute the difference.

e) Offices that have not fully earned their Way Forward Lump Sums will be given one final opportunity to earn this by introducing the single daily delivery revision by the end of March 2004 and achieving the consolidated £26.28 within 4 weeks.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Ha, my D.O never got anything under the poxy bonus schemes. For us it was 5 day week 3.5 hour span remove the 2nd del which didnt actually happen as the DOM had us doing sorting or packet delivery.

Still the the mbrs voted no twice to SDD revision and in the end well you know the story .......

Offices who had either ICS or PBS paid £5 of their £21.60. Remember not many offices recieved either PBS or ICS. Remember you had to have over £20 per month of PBS or ICS to contribute.
