Re: walk sequence
Local Boab...it will depend on the office workplan and how many hours a part-timer works each day.Boab wrote:Is it a national or down to local agreements that FT'ers are supposed to prep 1/6th of a PT'ers d2ds every day before they come in?

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: walk sequence
Actually it is the vast majority, it enables a 1 in 3 Saturday off for full timers. Prior to the revision they would share over 5 days, 2 x 10 hour shifts and one of 5 carried through to 1 of 5 followed by 2 of 10 and a cover. That is for 25 hour shifts, we also have 30 hour shifts and 33 and half hour shifts and for those there is a different set.POSTMAN wrote:That is some, not all.dvbuk55 wrote:Yes they can because they only work 3 days of 8 hrs 20mins........or whatever combination over 3 days................in our case it's Thu,Fri,Sat, and yep it's EVERY TFSPOSTMAN wrote:Depends on the hrs doesn't it for part timers and prepping?

Re: walk sequence
If your office is anything like mine your walk sequenced mail will be minimal and those that do IPS are struggling under the new weight of manual mail.kitkatchunky wrote:Got in today and was told that all part timers will be prepping there own walk and d2ds because we are getting walk sequence mail is any other offices like this
Prepping the walk sequenced mail isn't an issue, it doesn't take long. But the majority of your mail will still be manual I would think.
