Not any more. The whole point of the job now is to cut costs and increase profits to get us ready for privatisation.

you will not cut costs by sending driving dutys out at the peak time of traffic delays.
also how will royal mail increase profits if firms decide to go to other delivery companys to get their mail
at the time it should be delivered,we are playing into the hands of our competitors who will be able to deliver
mail before we have even left our office.

in our office we been on 0700-1500 since jan 2009! :roll: but as of 1feb we gone back to 0630-1430 :shock: with mail now arrive at 0600 and specials! don't no what the sudden turn around is :hmmmm but not compaining :nana

How far are you away from the MC? You must still get a fair bit coming in on later runs

we are about 25 miles from mc we get a lorry overnight! with various and walk sorted trays then 1 at 0600 then i final one about 0700-730 depending volumes :neutral: the last walk sorted trays arrive 0750 with missort run :whistle

Any of you mechable mail sequenced? If not you'll probably find you'll start later again once you start getting sequenced mail

no are mail has been sequence since 2009 we lost mech bundles end of 2008 we were one of the first trail areas :wink:

Sounds like your position in the great sequencing plan has changed.
This will happen to a lot of offices as more machines come on line.
