Re: It's a no from my D.O
What is and isnt major change is a issue for the mbrs at the moment for Plan B.
The membership have presented me with different and opposing views.
Morality is coming into play and Im getting hassle left right and centre.

NWPOSTIE totally agree with your post mate this agreement needs scrapping.
H/Q have lost the BALLS to fight ,they now point the finger and blame Branches, local reps for not being stronger.
Dave and Billy have been off the shop floor for that long they do not have a clue exactly what the job entails and what we go through on a daily basis any-more. How can they sitting in there ivory towers, they think they know and that's only by reports from branches. What they need to do at this present moment in time is make a whistle stop tour of the UK and visit D/Os ,M/Cs and listen to what the members have to say now. It was good enough for them to attend all the conferences in April to push this SHITEE agreement through and now its time to do it again. I very much doubt it thoe because they don't have the balls to face the members were are they as ive not heard from dingo Dave or bollicky Bill are they both in the Caribbean thinking arrgghhhh lads shafted job done lets enjoy the rays.
Let the Kaos ensue i think this will be the end of R/M as we know it, with this agreement and the CWU well done Dave well done Billy proud of you.
Is it not common sense to even log on to RMC and read the growing number of posts relating to this agreement .
I know from past experience when I mentioned RMC to Billy Hayes at conference and he FOOKED me off that H/Q don't like this site because as they see it there only scare stories that are posted on here and not the truth.
H/Q take your fooking heads out the sand and log on FFS

Can you expand on the morality issue BD - I sincerely hope there is nobody in your office being immoral - and certainly not in public view.Big Daz wrote:What is and isnt major change is a issue for the mbrs at the moment for Plan B.

Perhaps they see the new duties as being less than fair especially without the benefit of georoute to equalise the deliveries.

Never do.
This is SDD revision all over again, revision takes place due to national agreement but mbrs boot it out twice.
No pre Xmas implementation, far too late now.
Area rep and divisional rep due Wednesday to talk to mbrs.

In some ways I'm thankful that I heard my deopot won't be having a full revision until 2012, following the apparent mess left by a previous DOM who got moved before my employment...

This is what happened in our office...Big Daz wrote:Never do.

Our full bundled revision has been pushed back and back, and we've just voted to reject it again.
Manager says it's no longer being dealt with in office, been passed up to Area level.
Not sure were it's gonna go from here? Will they use EA?
haha, we had the CWU area and divisional reps down, and sent them on their way, they have the same songsheets as the RM area managers.....they just want you to sign it off, ASAP.

Re: It's a no from my D.O
Ours and another local office have been the subject of media interest since the revisions and guess what, instead of the CWU making hay at Royal Mails expense and trying to exonerate the staff from the quite obvious problems of failed revisions.............what they said was "these are teething problems". That is the problem you are faced with when you make agreements for expediency and not from common sense.mailmonkey wrote:This is what happened in our office...Big Daz wrote:Never do.

Re: It's a no from my D.O
Almost sorted now. RML have agreed to drop their savings by a whole FT duty.
Of course as its not a proper revision RML it could be argued are simply biding their time ready for the full on delivery methods/geo route onslaught.

Re: It's a no from my D.O
Very crap turnout for meeting this morning about 1/5th of the membership actually attended. So we had our discussion and I then at the end asked for a show of hands so as to accuratley gauge whether the collective view was for or against. Apart from from abstainer all other mbrs in attendance were a no vote.
Now moving to formal paper ballot so as to get the opinion of ALL mbrs if thats a no then RML will move to impose a revsion on us.

Well if you count yourself as part of the 1/5th .......................but seriously why not go for a paper ballot in the first place, that would be far quicker and more representative.................you're not stalling are you, the CWU will take a dim view of not making progress on change you know.Big Daz wrote:50 members at my D.O out of 64 OPG's

Re: It's a no from my D.O
Stalling?
Most definetely not in terms of finding out if mbrs are for or against!!!!
In terms of actually getting to that stage well the DOM decided to put ther planning on hold for a few weeks due to Xmas pressure and the DOMS 2 weeks annual leave. Didnt bother me didnt bother the members either. A set of proposals went on display on CWU notice board Friday morning last week.
Im a gainer, sooner this is in the sooner I can pick up one of the 5 vacant FT duties and the sooner a mbr dropping down to 30 hours can pick up my current duty.
