Not working in our office either. Two men to go out in a van to do two walking rounds TOGETHER (park and loop system) means it takes longer to get both rounds done and as a result mail is coming back. Our office has piles of mail brought back at least two days per week (Thurs/Fri). Seems that RM think this is OK as we have been told that it isn't going to change and as far as they are concerned the rounds are fine.

The worst part is we have part-timers on full time rounds so full-timers are being pulled off the inward sorting to throw off the part-timers rounds. This means less people on inward sorting so we are not getting out of the office until after 10am. Doesn't give you much time to complete a delivery and take meal relief, particularly when you have a 15 minute or more journey each way to and from the depot.

DOM told us today that ours have now been put back to sometime around June.

Did RM not tell the Press and customers that P&L was working in 1000s* of offices across the country - the telegraph article. Did they not lie in the courier with all there fancy photos, anecdotes and so on...

Some of these management sh1tes should be named and shame and public humiliated - they never listen to us, do they?

Some consultant gets paid a huge amount of money to suggest we do things like some other country which is not in any way similar to ours; and some dodgy pilots in veyr favourably areas with much doctored volumes...

Eh? There's always time for a meal relief.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

you will find that the management have taken a step back from introducing the new revisions, because they have found out that muggins here, are not prepared to help them out of the s**t, they are now in!
At Peterlee it was a shambles, they had to call in managers from all over the region to get back on top.
So now they know it is in their own interests to get it right!

They had us in for a meeting this morn,,,told us our revision is looking now to be early NEXT YEAR not very soon as was planned LOL.
reasons that we are 1 of the last in the area....and they gunna PLAN it proper,,,we have a PLANNER who seems to lie with every statement...said areas around us failed because they were rushed LOL.
it was asked "what if ours fails" to which our DOM then states "It wont,,,if it did i`d resign" LOL possibly saying goodbye to him early next year then.
