How much do these conferences cost the cwu?? don't mean the main one just the other ones. Don't think they are needed to be honest. united front!!!

Whatamess: Although personally, I doubt the need for the Women's Conference. Because there's been such a massive improvement in the way they're treated (at least in my experience). There are many others which ARE needed. Although I think that Teebs idea, of having joint Conferences, between many Unions is a better one.
Lounge Lizard: I think you've just proved the old adage "many a true word, spoken in jest". It would be a very good idea to have a Part Timers Conference, to try to "level the playing field" for them.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
