Heavy day, not much in the way of gaps. Sky and National Truast mags all over the place. Packet bag resembled those I got back around mid to late December.
Cold today but dry.

Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
no d2d prepped. lapsing bus has left already, prep d2d while i wait. Get taken to my lapsing, get back to office and the driver is waiting for my bags, obviously theyre not ready and by the time they are, he's left. 1st bags dropped off nearly 2 hours later . Bite the bullet and deliver all until the last bag, the key doesnt fit the lock, BO****KS!!!!!!!! Cant get an answer from the office so go all the way back there, wait for the driver with the box key to take me back out and finish nearly 2 hours past my time
And will anyone give a flying f*ck when i go in tomorrow? Answers on a christmas card delivered a month late to the usual address

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Lightest day in the nine months I've been an OPG.
Got in at 9 to find half the section gone which has never happened before. I've got the heaviest prep round (760 drops and some big bulk firms), but even with 'all' the IPS, D2D prep, packets, redirections and lapsing, was still finished on time. Most of our lot must have had their feet up by 12.
Has been getting lighter and lighter since the New Year. At this rate, we'll just be delivering packets by the end of February

Farcically easy day - seems we have returned to the way it was back in November, with easy Mondays & Tuesdays and ridiculously heavy Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Was finished for 11.05, and on one street I had a gap of 20-odd houses from number 41 to number 89 without having to deliver anything. Tomorrow will be hell.

How to piss me off in 3 easy steps. Stick me on a walk in an area of town I don't know, make sure its got lots of hills and steps and then tell me your doing me a favour putting me on those walks to get me fit!
This is my first week back out on half a duty since my knee op. Got a letter today confirming I need more treatment on my leg, that'll cheer the tossers up in the morning!

So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
What a difference a day makes. Wednesday, really busy, loads of packets and DSA, although the flats were ok. Today, slightly less letters, flats about the same. Packets were almost non existant. First signs of spring, summy and a little warmer.
