(Video included - interview with Aide Fielding Director of Processing in North West )
Royal Mail says all correctly addressed Christmas post has been delivered, after the BBC received numerous complaints of late and missing post.
Royal Mail says the delays are not due to the closure of local sorting offices in favour of the new Warrington sorting plant. The company says there are still slight delays in a handful of offices - but there are no backlogs of Christmas post.
Over the Christmas peak period the Royal Mail Warrington sorting plant was dealing with five million items of post in a 24 hour period.
The heavy snowfall before Christmas led to a backlog of mail which has only recently been cleared.

Just a blatant lie on camera!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

It amazes me how he keeps a straight face . If he loses his job at RM I think he should go into politics , I think he'll could go a long way .
Good to see North West News reporting about delayed Mail again today and also a ten minute report on radio 5 .
