This would surely be the best way to safeguard jobs, and protect the future of Royal Mail.
I think the Union would never have publicly supported such a move due to the legal implications.
Now that privatisation looks certain to happen you can guarantee the rules concerning regulation of dsa will change but the profits will go to the new owner not the taxpayer with us getting our fair share in wages and working conditions.My own opinion is we were buggered the moment we stopped our last strike.

In the interest of fairness and equality I think this question should be directed at Dave AND Billy! Since most of the posts are anti (current)leadership, the only reason Dave seems to be getting it in the neck is the geographical nature of his accent!
