Manchester Mail Centre

I work in an office that gets its mail from Manchester mail ctr and its a bloody joke.I know its not the drivers or postys its the management there.Every time I have a conversation with a driver the same name keeps popping up.For legal reasons lets call this person Mr P.A.
Anyone from manchester may get the clues,and I would appreciate your feedback on this situation,is it all Mr A,s fault or not.

Yes there are marquees at Manchester they put them in the managers car park now they have to park with the rest of us.

Yep we get ours from Manchester and its beyond a joke, the majority of letters aren't even walk SORTED let alone walk sequenced.

The other week they sent a york up where the whole york was for a different area, we immediately sent it straight back... the next day guess what turns up back at our D.O. ... The very same york.

What annoys me is that us on delivery can recieve warnings etc for something as minor as delivering one single letter wrong, yet these jokers at the MCs seem to just be able to get away with endless amounts of buffoonery and incompetence with no-one getting held accountable.

Manchester is a shambles,and no one is being strung up for it,and nothing is being done.Our van turns up in the morning half empty,then at 8.00am 17 yorks arrive.I heard its all there ready,but no one will push it out to the bays for the vans,and the drivers wont go and get it from inside.Come on lads your shitting on your fellow workers here.Maybe there is a problem at Manchester,I dont know,that why im hoping to hear from some that work there.

we get our mail at macclesfield from manchester mail centre. can't anybody read there? the missorts we send back to them arrive back the following day!!!! (even with our code etc crossed off ) the " sequenced " mail from stockport arrives with the wrong labels on and not even sequenced!!!! the tracked packets arrive mixed in with the other packets.we often get one van with very little on, then two or three full ones!! we only used to get a few missorts when stockport was open, now we get loads (by the york full) now the missorts are for everywhere that moved into manchester!!!! i don't hold any hope out of things getting any better in the future

I'm from North Manchester and its the same every morning Boxes coming in non sequenced on your break time. This morning it was 9 30 am when they came in considering we are supposed to out of the office at 10 10am. Last Saturday the boxes came in at 9 am and we should have been out at 8 10 am, well they got left behind till Monday. The managers are all blaming one and other its not possible for this system to work.
We have took on Stockport and Bolton mail at Manchester as well and they cant cope.
Door to doors same scenario it could be Wednesday before they come in then the want me like BBC I Player Catch up. They can kiss it…

Why are only approximately 30% of our letters getting Walk Sequenced?

Why does the first van arrive with virtually nothing on? What have you guys been doing all night?

Why do we have trays and trays (sometimes whole yorks) of mail for other D.O.s?

As much as I'd like to blame management for these issues I cant help thinking its more due to lazy, bolshie MC staff sh**ing on their Delivery COLLEAGUES.

I don't think it's the mail centre staff to blame, clearly the mail centre rationalisation/condensing three mail centres into one is not working. This may or may not sort itself out over time, however so far it is not looking too optimistic, and mail centre staff are becoming more and more disillusioned coming in day after day and watching helplessly as their mail centre fails and being able to have little or no influence over it. RM will have to admit that their 3 in 1 strategy is not working and working at a mail centre that is about to go the same way I am not encouraged by what I have seen in other parts of the country.
