Hello everyone,
I was one of the many full time OPG's with many years service, who was made redundent in 2009 at the Oxford Mail Centre, in Cowley, Oxford. I have not worked for the postal industry since, inc Royal Mail themselves (surprise surprise!). In fact I have not worked since at all for various reasons.
My question to anyone who may be able to help, is: Where are all the management from Oxford Mail Centre (particularly the Line Managers, Shift Managers and Mail Centre Managers) now????
In particular between 2005-2009??? I presume some of them "moved" to the TVMC in Swindon but I do not know anything for certain.
Kind thanks,
a second class citizen (redundent OPG)

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

OK, no problem.
By the way, I am NOT interested in hearing about the various very pretty polish girls, who mysteriously got promoted into management at Oxford (even though i admit to being one of the many admierers form a distance!)
I'm only interested in 'longer serving' management for reference purposes.
Thanks,
A second class citizen from Oxford.
