Regrettably as woofwoof says as long as the vote is above board and is democratic then yes members can vote on this - its one of the drawbacks of a democracy that sometimes with the best intentions in the world people will loose out. :sad:

As to changing your working days but not your contracted hours - yes I believe they can but get advice from the CAB before this happens as you may be able to claim "Constructive Dismissal" if you cannot work these new shifts, but there are hoops and legal niceties you have to go through first.

look on the bright side youll now get 3 days off every week

looking on the bad side u will now only work the busiest days of the week while the rest have it easy monday and tuesday . (and probably most big chunky mags etc left over for you coming in)
