Award honour for marketing firm's Royal Mail project

MARKETING communications agency Brass has scooped a major honour at the Market Research Society Awards for its work with the Royal Mail.
The Headingley-based company which employs 160 developed the Royal Mail Opinion Forum which picked up the MRS/BIG award for business-to-business research.

Other award winners included Sony Music, Guardian News and Media and ITV.

The Royal Mail Opinion Forum gives the organisation instant access to business and personal customers.

Anna Cliffe, head of insight at Brass, said: "The award was a great way to end a fantastic year for the team, which posted revenue growth of 54 per cent and added new clients such as SkyBet, Ribena and the Co-op Group."

Rosy Goodrick, insight and intelligence analyst at Royal Mail, said: "By working closely with Brass, Royal Mail has been able to dip its toes for the first time into the brave new world of social media in business-to-business research. The Opinion Forum has been a vital source internally, so we are delighted by the judges' verdict and comments."

:funneh As reported in yesterday's YEP, Brass has recently made 16 people redundant. :left:

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
