I'm off all week.

I'm lying in bed right now all snug and warm, with a mug of hot chocolate on hand and the cricket on in the corner.

Enjoy work!

My day off today :nana and its is well needed after yesterday. Still on light duties and yesterday being the only uniformed person left in the DO i was constantly given the runaround whilst managers looked on. Started off sorting packets, then was told to prep a walk, then told to go on IPS then told to prep another, then back onto IPS, then onto another prep, then take some tracked/specials out, then onto sorting catalogues on the DBF.......needless to say by the time I got home I had the right hump and my leg was killing me. Revision starts next week and I'm below the line for my own duty so another 8 years as a reserve looks on the cards.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

I've never seen it so bad for so long, from September it had just got worse and worse, we used to get a bit of a break after Christmas but this year it's just been constant.................................anyway, just more cut offs for me (after the usual argument about streaming  ).

Its eased up quite a lot this week and we are now down to normal levels of mail other than packets which are still slightly up.
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

The first 'normal' day for two weeks. Lets hope it stays that way.
I staged a Roger Moore impersonator festival in my local village. There were a lot of eyebrows raised, I can tell you.
