Its not confirmed yet so everything continues as normal until its announced. (that is very important).
I hope not we need to continue on until we get an agreement not just talks because :lfo :cfo will just use the breathing space to try to screw us

Call of the strikes? Hardly a deal has been done..wtf?
If the CWU agree to this, then the union is worthless/useless, and you have to wonder why exactly we supported their actions. All this talk of a union win yesterday is crap. They've won nothing. RM have admitted their in the s**t with backlogs - great - wasn't that the idea? Now we hear of a possible call of of strikes because their in the s**t, or because the original deal has been agreed? It's not the latter, is it?
Now i see RM are still delaying revealing the finicial state of the business because obviously something is their to be hidden/cover up.
I bet this rumour will be true. It's not for nothing Leighton is meeting them for the first time - face to face - looks like i'll be cancelling my CWU membership soon, should this rumour prove true......unless a very good agreement has been reached.

My feeling is that the strikes will be suspended not cancelled so that the option is still there to call us out if no satisfactory progress is achieved.

I would NOT like to see us suspend the action just yet.
Lets not forget how we got into this situation!
The terrible twins thought it would be a two week wonder and we would bow to their will. We should not only make sure there is a cast iron agreement for negotiation but those agreements have to be long term, binding and unable to be reneged by either party without a financial penalty so large that neither party would be liable to break them. The financial penalties would not be the same for each party as obviously RM has infinitely more cash.
We should also ask for an apology from the two main protagonists as an individual letter to each and every employee for their error.
In addition each employee who has lost out financially should receive a one off payment as a goodwill gesture.
