However, the above got me thinking.
Why is Leighton so hell bent on ruining this business now, when ultimately he could just have kept the company running as it is/was until someone else came in and replaced him. For a person who is leaving the business fairly soon, and won't bat an eyelid about his position when he is gone, what right has he to continually piss the workforce off?
Many a man has been better thought off if he downed tools immediately and admitted he'd f*ucked up instead of soldiering on; orchestrating more disasters.
Btw, when he does go, God help the next business he becomes Chairman of. His track record is there for all to see - he joins as Chairman, absolutely creams the company of bonuses/high salaries, decides to throw his weight about ( i guess to try justify his grossly overpaid salary) and then ends up slating the workforce. Well, isn't that what he's done with RM?
Finally. I've never "asked Alan" a question, but my question would be "Can you and Crozier honestly justify your salary?" If he was being honest, he couldn't, and either could Crozier. But, there's nothing honest about the deadly duo :cfo :lfo
Edit: Apologies mods, i've posted this in the wrong area..appreciate if you could move it..
