"He Had just moved to a new house and his wage was not fantastic". So you use your car on delivery and steal other peoples money instead of having the balls to stand up to the D.U.M and tell him your cutting off and not wasting petrol money and wear and tear of your car on R.M.

It wouldn't surprise me if he was a scab as well, as any theives I have known have usually been strike breakers in caning docket(and theiving)during strikes.

Fluke's remarks make it clear that he knows more than most about what's happened in that office and they are a reminder that being a union rep can be a thankless task, little credit given when you sort things out but plenty of flak when you can't, and I know this all too well from being a union rep in a previous occupation.
