The BT2010 agreement is meant to aid the shares increasing in value. For the sake of the national officers I hope it happens, I wouldnt want to explain to the mbrs why there has been no increase in value when that was used as a selling point.

Well, IIRC, the rules were if you remained an employee of RM, then you got the payout in '11 & '12 ( with exceptions for retirement, EVR, IHR, & VR )....but when we get sold off, we will no longer be employees of RM, but of TNT, Deutche Post, "Honest" John Post, etc, ergo we can expect to cash in to the tune of sweet F.A.

CS allocations 1 & 2 are still there awaiting buy back in 2011 and 2012.

Your both right they did go into BT2010 and the payments are fixed at 50% in 2011 and 50% in 2012 as part of the agreement.
The value at the time of the agreement was £1024 for full-time but they are/were in the process of being revalued.

Will the payments be affected by the amount of shares you have, or the amount of hours on your contract ( as I'm PT, but due to caning docket at the time, I earned a couple more shares than a standard FT got )? What's the odds Billy & Dave arranged everyone, inc new starters, got a "fair" share of the money on a pro rata basis?

As far as i'm aware Jim only the allocation of shares was pro-rata so once you have them...you have them.
This is the letter i got in september from them...

Your current allocation is 711 shares comprising 408 shares issued in 2007 and 303 shares issued in 2008 which were until recently worth £1.51 each.There is currently a re-evaluation underway at the moment so the current value is unknown until this is finished.

You have received £600 in Local dividends and £600 in Group dividends split up as follows
£400 for each dividend was paid on 30/5/08 and £200 on 29/5/09,in total £1200 gross.

The final dividends were replaced by the Pay Deal Lump Sum of £400 replacing the final dividends of £200 Local and £200 Group.

The third share issue was converted into a cash payment and went towards the £1000 Transformation Bonus Payments currently underway.The number of shares which would have been issued is unknown but may have been similar to the second issue.

The last communication we had was that they were currently worth just over £1000, so about £510 this year and next. I wouldn't expect that figure to change much, we certainly aren't getting any more shares because that's where your revision 'bonuses' are coming from.

Not the "shares" you already had...and at a guess i would say around the end of May since that's when the dividends were paid in 2008 and 2009....but it is just a guess.
