Because it's cheaper for the council to pay TNT to do them (and they in turn find it cheaper to pass them onto us to actually deliver)

Mail is mail regardless of what type of mail it is.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

For 'us' there is no such thing as 's**t' mail, mail pays our wages, who are we to not want to deliver it,or complain about what we deliver because we think it is s**t.

Now without giving some of you the hump with my personal views,i say give us s**t then some more and some more after that to deliver.
We work our hrs yadda yadda you know the drill, what we deliver is what we deliver.
At the end of the week we get paid. And it's this 's**t' mail that helps pay us.

I dont disagree with you postman, anything that pays our wages is worth delivering, however when I say sh.te I mean that some of it is so bloody awful to deliver through some of these modern letterboxes with their rows of brushes, that RM should insist on some restraints on size and paper type to make sure that these things can be delivered a/ in 1 piece and b/safely for the postal person.

i absolutely hate south ayrshire council .... the A-holes 9 times out of 10 send out their bulk mailings on a saturday ... this ends up swamping deliveries with council houses
