After reading today about Camelot winning the contract again in running the National Lottery, I was surprised to find out that RM was a major shareholder in the company.
Is this common knowledge to everyone?

I dont do the lotto and this is one more point why... Ive always said like most of us.. "I WOULD DO THIS, THAT, AND DO THE OTHER IF I WON THE LOTTO." But ive never bought a lotto ticket in all the years its been running.. I think the way that its run under crime-alot is a disgrace...

How many millions that go to just one winner and all the lower winners get feck all??? I dont know how much the lowest win is but i do know i dont hear so many people saying they have won anything anymore...WHY??? The way they hand out the charitys is another reason i dont play it... Dont get me started on that rant!!!!

The goverment made sure who ever was pulling the balls out of the box was tied in with them... And Royal Mail is perfect to rope in on the act... I dont want to give anything to them bastards as they rob us of our health service, our rail service, gas, mining, add a long line of services that are now a plc.. Or farmed out to sub contractors and short term contract workers. Cheap labour and degrading the service for all.. Or if you do want a service ?? Pay thru the nose for it at a premium... Now the Post is up for our shake up and Backdoor privatising... Phantom shares that can only be sold to the goverment.. A noose around our neck that the goverment think WE will work harder because we have a part to play in our own profits of RM when we cant hit targets of bonuses when they are unrealistic and false... The RM figures that havnt been released YET are just another cover up that shows how can anyone trust these parasites??? WE CANT!!! They hold the strings on the job but not on us the workers,, With out us they are feck all!!! All there monies they come by is off of our backs... Yes there needs to be a sliding scale of payment for the top jobs in RM but a scale that is in line with all bonuses and salarys Not just THE HAVES N HAVE NOTS!!!

Im proud of all the posties that are standing up against these 2 buffoons and the goverment.. We aint thick mindless militants with blood on our minds.. We ALL dont want to strike... Its not a game.... But we have to stand and be counted... This is the olnly way we can be heard... LET GORDEN BROWN AND POSTCOM AND BIG AL N lil adam Know!!!

At the end of the day it is just another tax on the poor.Camelot collects the tax,RM takes their cut and passes it onto the GOVT.

Must admit, I did know this and thought it was common knowledge. Haven't played the lotto anyway since Branson lost the chance to run it. I think we got the warning shots from the government then; A for-profit shareholder lotto, or one that would have given all profit to charity. What did they choose??

Are we still doing the, "don't be ill for 6 months and we'll give you some worthless holiday vouchers scheme"? Maybe we'll get a lottery ticket instead since Royal Mail are shareholders.

I made the mistake of picking the same numbers every week, so now have no choice but to play as I know that if I don't put them on the buggers will come up.
