However working on Xmas day is not on the agenda thus generating a extra day off work that is not part of our contracted time away from work entitlement. In previous years RML has clawed back the hours from those due to work Saturday thus meaning we all stay equal in time away from work. This meant the majority working extra hours without overtime with the minority (Saturday off) not having to work any extra hours as Saturday is thier offical day off.
However the CWU powers that be,have persuaded RML to drop clawback for which we should all
Unfortunatley the powers that be,have not yet achived a agreement to cover days off that fall on no service days
CWU mbrs in my D.O have questioned why this issue is sill kicking around when it happened last year as well, they feel it should have been tackled well before this Xmas. The BT2010 agreement would have been a good veichle to have achived it .
