Rules say:
If someone has a different position to you please respect their right to have differing views, and enjoy yourself when picking holes in their position in a constructive way. We would much rather have a long winded well thought out argument, picking out weak points in someone's position, than have a thread full of 1 line insults.
Please do not in any circumstances resort to name calling or behaviour that could be deemed as bullying or harassment.
Say what you want but don't make it personal by calling him a Knob or a w****r, you agreed to the rules after all

clearing their own sections, in their eyes the delivery postie is

Re: Christmas Shambles(who will be held accountable)
Also some walks have no been delivered for 3 days.
I had a hell of day yesterday. As I been out on Thursday night and went to bed about 1am and woke up at 5am
I got a cold, and cramp on my leg and find it a real struggle to complete the duty. due to snow and cancellation on Wednesday post delivery. I feel very very rough last night. I hate December. I am very very grumpy last afternoon. Night Duty was cancelled since Tuesday. Which means increased IPS. I think it is worse day of my working life as postman.
I believe we should not do DSA on christmas eve.

MC world class mail takes an interesting turn at christmas
It looks like you just bag things up ,mixed flats letters, bung it in a york unsorted and throw it out the doors to be whisked off to some unsuspecting DO. Nothing must get in the way of the quest for the silver star

in worked nights and the mail centre decides to send the majority of packets at the end of the shift, why didnt they send the stuff down earlier.
The company is run, badly.
giving dsa priority, no other company works with a competitor fixing the price, tesco must be so pleased not paying 45p per item.

Totally agree, the managers won't get it in the neck as they have'nt got the balls to face the public.General Mannerheim wrote:In a nutshell....US.
The fecking management will come up smelling of roses as normal, as we are all bone idle, soft, namby pamby poofters who are scared of ` a bit of snow` and us grunts will get all the s**t as usual when Tiny feckin Tarquin doesn't get his feckin x box on Crimbo day.
Still we've always got Billy and Dave to save us.:vcfo

ithink that would be a good plan i worked for 2 years in a mc and then went to a d/o it like night and day i would go back to a mc at th drop of a hat fat chance thatblue1873 wrote:Have said for years&years that all MC managers should be madewatdeadlyone wrote:shafted by mc for months now.walksorted not coming till 2nd feed,2nd van held back.if this is the future roll on retirement coz at the moment it is a joke

i think you'll find it will be the posties fault, it will help the management and the governments agenda in turning the public against us before privatisation, the only good point in privatisation is that all the moaning cnuts who complain about service , price etc are in for a hell of a shock and if we do away with the universal service obligation then hopefully they live somewhere unprofitable and get a delivery once a week, also to be able to tell the leeches who use dsa that their letters will now cost 15p more than a public letter to recieve the preferential treatment that they currently recieve , wonder how many of the new super delivery companies would go out of business if they had to actually deliver the mail they get paid for , and before anyone comments, im 100% behind saving the royal mail but i think its now impossible so all we can hope for is a level playing field

I thought about this as well and its going to be interesting how long they last when not riding upon our backs.
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

I have always said the dsa companies should have had a limit of 2 years then they had to put in their own delivery system. Then we would have seen those money grabbing parasites run a mile

Re: Christmas Shambles(who will be held accountable)
Ordered some stuff from suppliers 10 days before christmas, still not arrived
popped down to my old DO, they let me go in and have a look, said that if they had package it would be in one of 3 yorks, all of which were full to overflowing ( and that was just for a few roads around town ) had a quick search but it really was a needle in a haystack job....
No blame on the guys at the coalface, but the numptys at the top have fecked up big time.
