It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

As far as I know there isn't a limit in our office but generally, if they won't all fit in one of the old 48(?) slot sorting frames he doesn't give you them unless there are only a couple.

You are required to keep all Special Deliveries with you at all times - you cannot leave them in your bag box or in your 2nd pouches. At least that is what we were told when some got stollen.

I suppose you should wieght your pouches with your SD's and waterproof on all of them.

P.S. remember, 5Kg max in a pouch when there are a significant number of steps or steep hills. That leaves about 500g for mail then! :Very Happy
No, I'm not being daft - you can be sacked for leaving your SDs in a pouch box.
