Less staff leads to less mbrs and those who do retain membership dont pay the top membership fee thus a reduction in finances.
But does less finances lead to financial prudence and cutting back expenditure :hmmmm No don't tell me these are all up for discussion again next year.
In the meantime up will go the subs come January by a greater %age than any pay rise. Ain't life a ball on the gravy train.

I hope to see either a long term freeze on subs or a decrease following reforms to the CWU structure.

You've still more chance of winning than Daz has of seeing a reduction in subs. :chuckle

You might not like them but both Dave and Billy do put the hours in and anyone in the know will state that.
Unfortunately merely putting the "hours in" when you're paid £100,000 and a string of extra perks and benefits isn't good enough,it's results that count, and measuring them by that.......... :wave
Yeah Union... Goodnight and thanks for nothing. :wave :evil/mad I can't wait to start our new office hours 7-3pm. Quality negotiating Hates and Ward :speak to the hand

I'm one of the thick ones who didn't really understand why we were striking this last time,i was in good company though as i watched an interview with Billy Hayes and he seemed somewhat muddled when asked that question too! Anyway,i was happy to comply with the unions request for a yes in ballot to IA and a yes in action too!

Now,having already admitted to being a bit of a thickie there's another thing i don't quite get on this forum.
What is it that certain people on here don't understand about the fact that if a large section of cwu members get a massive pay cut and an increase in their delivery spans and expected workload, they're going to be pissed off! :hmmmm
