Thornton's....you lucky ******* all we ever got was cheap s**t like celebrations or milk tray. :evil/mad

our last year of getting chocolates was a choice of celebrations or heroes or whatever they were called ... i declined them = cheap crap

Reminded me once of a case in an Office which is near where Posh and Backs live, they used to give a hamper every year to the Posties in their local delivery Office, however it turned out that the Manager they handed it to klept it for themselves
and didn't share it with the Posties, the IB was called in, so much for the Christmas spirit :evil/mad

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

My wages have increased by £53 take home so I assume that is the Xmas bonus, still no payslip so can only make a educated guess. Im due £75 gross as on a 30 hour week.

Ive been off sick for five weeks so I hope this is a good sign for the hardworking OPGs out there who have had the misfortune to be ill at some point over the Xmas pressure period.

Been almost doubling my contract hours to ~45 per week over six days for about six weeks... For a whopping £56.25 before tax!

The list of "bad deals" for PTers who work well beyond their 22.5/25/30 hours is beyond silly...
Annual leave
Sick leave
Delivery supplement
The free stamps(? Given ~50)
Xmas bonus
etc. etc.

All paid pro rata instead of being based on the avergae hours worked! :arrrghhh

Finally got my pay slip today. I was under the illusion that if a 25 hour man worked 40 hours a week in Christmas pressure they get the full £100? I've only een paid pro-rata despite working over 40 hours pw. Is this right?
