Re: Bleedin Amazon
Anyone noticed that Amazon don't send out anything by 1st class anymore but still give you an option of paying for it? So now you can order goods and choose the options of SD or 1st class or 2nd class or super saver. 2nd class normally gets sent as such but 1st class gets sent as Tracked and Amazon pocket the difference.
On Tuesday night our MC had at least 5 trailers stacked with 44 RSCs each most of it Amazon tracked all inward and 3 of them were still there on Wednesday and all were dated on the RSC as last Friday and Saturday. Also Tuesday saw us get approx 80 yorks of Tracked from Amazon.

I wouldn't of thought so,but there is a daily report on them and if they are not delivered they get their arse kicked.sodiium wrote:do tracks failure affect dom bonuses? Its just that dom say get the tracks done & if u got time try some of the packets.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Bleedin Amazon
Spoke to a DHL driver today and told him our office WA area is going to fail this Christmas for the first time in my 9 years mainly due to Amazon and packets. Oh yes said the DHL driver we used to have that contract put they were using extra large boxes for small items and the contract didnt make profit, so we cancelled the contract.
I wonder which mugs got the contract (the £40M one)?

i bet it`s more to do with they can`t cope and Amazon realised this so used the good old royal mail . during this week we have had loads of tracked by Amazon but luckily enough the snow held off so didn`t effect deliveries like it has in some areas .
