Gosh darn it after all the chaos since the last strike we have nearly caught up. Only carried over 1 mixed yorkie of flats and letters (all MS) and 1 Redskin (lke that name) of packets so tomorrow should be like a normal day. Boss has offered me OT on Thursday I said NO. He then came back and said I'll give it you at SA I said NO again. DO I Need my head read, probably but I think I did the right thing.

Had a good day, apart from people coming in demanding their giros, did'nt seem to understand they are not being dealt with by us. Delivered to your local post office by TNT seemed to confuse them :arrrghhh

Going to have an even better day tomorrow, its my day off :nana
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

CRAP DAY

Post by TrueBlueTerrier »

Council sent a voters registration letter to everyone on the walk, but DOM said take where you go.

On round tripped over a step, well that happens to everyone, but I did it in front of about 8 kids, they ripped the piss out of me.: d'oh!

Then when I had a reg for a customer and pointed to where he should sign he decides to sign straight over the previous signature. :d'oh!

Then I fell over again, (must look where I am going), and damaged my shoes so they now flap like a clowns show. :funneh

Got home to find I had scrapped my elbow and had been bleeding on to my shirt.

Am I glad I am off tomorrow. Now Triple T is on here no doubt everyone will know by Friday and I'll get the piss ripped out of me again.

the best ones where you wake up people early saturday to sign something and they sign it everywhere but never in that box, unlucky i hate it when my bike falls over when someone there, i tell them its more funnier if my bike doesnt fall over during a whole round.

Asked Wilbur if the SOM had anything to say after I left for my deliveries - "nope, he was there for a cluster meeting" - now WHY did the word haemorrhoids immediately come to mind????

Cluster Meeting

Post by TrueBlueTerrier »

Cluster f**k

Military term for a situation caused by too many inept officers, cluster referring to the insignia worn my majors and LT. Colonels, oak leaf clusters.

Apart from the ranks seems to apply pretty well to Royal Mail.
