Nepotism, can it be stopped

Post by zootmartian »

Nepotism is at an all time high in our Kent mail centre, it's become all the more obvious since the announcement of the moving of Kent mail to the new mail centre (opening 2012). Can this sort of thing be reported and investigated? it's notoriously difficult to prove, but it's there all right and I'm sure it goes on in other centres, it shouldn't be happening in a company of this size.

Is sex with dead people even legal?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

I`m from a small kent office, nepotism is of sort happening, however other attributes are also needed, have to be morbidly obese, develope an aliment to stop them going out on delivery ie a limp, however this doesnt stop someome playing sport!
Regular backstabbing, extented meal relief on average 90minutes. An absolute blatant show of having no idea on whats going on..!!

Oh my god, thats funny, that is so very vey funny, do you write your own material, do you? because that is so very funny, and so up to date and fresh, I've never heard anything so funny. The way you've taken the word Nepotism and used it out of context as if it was the word Necrophilia, yes using a very slightly similar word in that way - I've just never heard of anything like that before, no you're the first, because thats what it is... Necrophilia, a sexual attraction to corpses and because the first two letters are the same as Nepotism, you've made the highly comical suggestion that acts of necrophilia are occuring within Royal Mail, that is just so very clever, I would never have thought of that myself.... wel done, yes well done, you sir should be on stage, I would be first in line to buy tickets!!!!! very well done to you.

I can see his point though. Nepotism is a major problem, that I've encountered too. It's incredibly frustrating, and he just wanted some advice.

As to the original question: Can anything be done about it?
Sadly, I don't know of anything that can be done. Because as has already been stated. It's incredibly difficult to prove. Even when many people are aware of it happening. Sadly, it's just a fact of life in RM.

I think he's had a sense of humour bypass, something that is needed by everyone who works for RM otherwise you would explode (a not in that bloated body way  ).
