I can't begin to imagine what time I would have finished if my drive hadn't 'lost' a walk for the Christmas period.
Off subject CCR, is there a better intro out there than Tommy Gun? And have you ever listened to all 6 sides of Sandinista one after the other?

I think the intro to The Ruts' - Babylon's Burning wins hands down.
I doubt very much if I have actually ever listened to every track on Sandinista. My love affair with The Clash began to end after Give 'Em Enough Rope. Although there are some great tracks on London Calling and Sandinista, it just isn't the same.
Still off topic - first night of the Out on Parole tour, Aylesbury Friars, badges were thrown out to the crowd at the end. I never got one but some bloke at school had one and I swapped my Complete Control picture sleeve for the badge which obviously got lost somewhere in the last 30 years and I've always wanted a replacement.
Last night on e-bay there it was but it sold for £32.
So if anyone has got one of the promo badges from the Out on Parole tour - you are rich and I hate you.

Shite day.... fooking Council! with all the cuts their having to make you would have thought that the local Council magazine would have been FIRST! no such luck! over 600 of the fookers feel totally knackered. Claiming 40 minutes extended. Going to have a very early night... the buggers!

Tesco Clubcard, Cold Weather payments from DWP, both which filled the empty gaps I did have in the frame, Managed to do all the leftover packets, so up to date for tomorrow. Or am I tempting fate!

Terrible day. Didn't get off the IPS till about 10am. Went out about 12noon. Finished in the dark. 
Milder weather, even tried raining late on. The real killer today was bulk mailings that really screwed everything up.

Only been doing half a walk a day alternate the round as it is still really icy,
Unindated with packets had 4 managers from the clacton area(65 miles away)
coming in for the last few days doing packets, must be spare , I though one of them was a casual and said so, which he was quite indignant that I thought he was, 
I know I am really shattered after only doing half to 3/4walk

Same old frakking bull sh*t. They didn't bother chucking any of mine out today, told the lino there was no way I could chuck in any more and complete HALF a walk (in treacherous conditions), so eight/nine bundles were just left on the fitting waiting to be chucked in. Half a walk took me until 1.35pm, then I had to walk back from my duty to make my proper finish time. PREDICTABLY, nobody had had the FORESIGHT to see the problem tomorrow whereby whoever preps my walk is going to have two days' worth of mail to prep. A normal person, possessive of simple logic skills, would have FORESEEN this CONSIDERABLE problem and tasked somebody, whilst I was out and the day was still young, with throwing in today's mail, thus reducing tomorrow's workload to a minimum. But no, that would be too complicated.
Which means when I get in tomorrow there will be at least three/four mech bundles for ME to do, reducing the outdoor workload that I am capable of doing. No problem, you're thinking, just cut off, and I quite agree, but I would nevertheless like to clear my walk at some point BEFORE CHRISTMAS to enable somebody to at least manoeuvre an inch of space around my fitting. I'm not bothered about the mail but I am the claustrophobic sort and I don't much like getting in in a morning and finding myself in a dark little corner where I'm buried under packets and letters. Lo and behold, we're supposed to be going out and doing our full duty tomorrow - like that's possible when one half of my walk will have three days worth of mail and the other half a mere two. I guess this is another logic fail on behalf of either our managers or their managers.
No doubt when I tell them to stuff it there'll be an exchange of bewildered looks. This whole situation could have been avoided if only by means of a little forward planning. The other idiots in the office aren't helping though, working for FREE up until 3pm just to clear their fitting. Complete and utter morons who belittle the likes of myself and make us seem lazy and/or useless in comparision. Thanks a lot for that, fellas. Thanks for creating a wedge for my manager to thrust between us when I tell him that he's deluded if he thinks I can do any more than 'x' amount (x to be dictated by the numerous variables outlined above). Obviously, should overtime be offered to clear then I may be open to that possibility - I don't mind doing work AND helping ease the backlog provided that the appropriate sweeteners are extended in my direction. I'm not immune to the wiles of the good old English pound.

Much better then yesterday 
Finished the whole walk within my time and now have a long weekend 
Christmas pressure next week,ive been taken off my walk and put on a packet/parcel delivery as we are short of drivers.
It would be nice if we have a clear office for Monday
