If the amount of mail is any indication then NIMC is clear (well I hope so because we can't take anymore falling volumes  ).

Due to the falling mail volumes, we are unable to cope with the inward foreign mail and a lot is being diverted
to Birmingham, Bristol Outhouse, and Jubilee Mail Centre. That is if the snow doesn't stop the artics.

What I will add to this is that NWMC (Wolverhampton) are taking on the work that was originally sent to Birmingham along with Doncaster and Glasgow diverts amongst others.
Whilst it does look like a bomb has gone off I can say we are processing the work at a reasonable rate, although it would be much better if some of these arrogant 5 minute managers would get on their push bikes and disappear somewhere before their heads get removed and used as Christmas decorations.

Would very much depends on where the letter actually is, as indicated above some mail centres are struggling due to equipment just being in the wrong place and unable to be relocated due to the bad weather conditions in some areas.

And I can add that some of the diversions to Jubilee Mail Centre are being diverted back to Mount Pleasant.
We do seem to be coping though.

Our mail centre was packed to the rafters last night .ive never seen so much mail inward and outward.
We were still tipping last nights collections this morning.Inward packets have gone mental owing to online shopping during the bad weather plus diverted collections from scotland. At least they can blame
the weather this year.Feel for the guys on deliveries they wont know whats hit them after this week.
