They DO but if an individual still takes it upon themselves to work over then you expect the CWU to do? Go out there; abduct the perpitrator and return them, kicking and screaming to their homes?

Must admit on a FEW occasions we've had lads coming back in at 1800 (the same time as our SA collections are finishing) but that's been on days that we've lapsed several duties. And those lads had volunteered for the extra overtime.
BUT 2100 ! that's got to be madness in anyone's book. Are these guys doing it for the overtime or is it just their duty is taking that long? If so cut off for Christ's sake

I feel quite sorry for anyone in such a financial predicament as to need to be out delivering mail at 9pm but that's up to them i suppose,unless of course the DOM was walking behind them with a loaded revolver pressed to the back of their head. If that was the case then ................i agree,the cwu should definitely intervene!

Delivering till 9pm is illegal anyway as you have to have at least a 10 hour break between shifts...perhaps it was their day off next day.

Park and Loop has to come in, the government has given Rm 2 Billion pounds which equates to the following= Park and Loop those 3 little words costing 1.5 Billion poonds, the rest who knows where it went!!!! WHAT A COMPLETE AND UTTER MESS, so sad to witness a once lovely job, made impossible to do, I urge everyone just do your 8 hour day and go home, happy in the knowledge that you`ve done your best, and none of this is your fault.

i work on a night shift, packets have increased.
