you HAVE a Linos mobile number!!!!

We have one bloke sent 12 miles each day to another DO, travels in his own car and gets paid the Royal Mail pence per mile rate, there and back!

Well done mma, if we were all as ready to stand up for our rights as you our managers wouldn't be able to be the bullying idiots they are.

Don't forget to say good morning to your lino lol and ask if your lift is ready to get you to the new DO. He will know full well that he is responsible for getting you there and if he says otherwise tell him he should know RM proceedure and to call his area manager to check.

When you get to other DO tell the new lino straight away what time you can work to. He/she might actually be ok and not a prat. Tell them you need a lift back at a set time and if there is none available you will call a taxi and claim the cost back FROM THEIR OFFICE (not your usual one).
Have fun.

You sometimes find no-one wants to be the rep in some offices cause the managers are so unpleasant to deal with. It takes a strong character to be a good rep, sounds like you should go for the job fella esp if you feel strongly about not being taken for a ride by idiots.

Unfortunately man flu got a hold of me over the weekend and I don't think the wet feet all day Sat helped, so spent most of yest on the sofa and felt like i'd gone 12 rounds with Audley Harrison :left:(Actually a lot worse!) when I woke up this morning. Back in on Weds, have been told I will get petrol allowance if I choose to drive to the other D.O(saved message as proof!!)

Well, 5 weeks soon, so may actually get my R.M shoes so I don't feel like i'm on a ice rink in the snow/ice........some how doubt they will appear too soon!

Well done but you don't even have to drive to the other DO. You are in effect using your car to do their dirty work causing it wear and tear when they should be getting you there. Also remember if you drive there or back in duty time you will then need business insurance to be covered as you are using the vehicle as part of your job not just commuting!!!! :chuckle

fixed it for you.

Btw, any other office had two successive reps use the job as a stepping-stone to becoming a manager ?
Just spilt stain-remover down my shirt. Now how do I get that out?

yeh coxie, that's why I said I felt much worse actually!

Ok, finishing early, leaving early or at least on time. Managers don't try to bully or harrass you(not yet anyway :dance ) And guess what......no harassment/standing over you etc......and i'm getting out of the D.O so much earlier with no mistakes from rushing! From 7-10 sacks to try complete in 2.5-4 hours max, to 3-4 pouches in 3 hours. Not sure if it's because this D.O is using the revision/van sharing etc but a lot of dead walking involved and they expect full timers to do 2 walks but they've made the walks that long, hardly any1 is doing more than the 1 walk in their shift

Also got myselfa brand new bag or 2 :Very Happy After my 1 was stole at my D.O :cry
