Rep needs our help!!

Sorry if this isn't in the right place postman, didn't know if it belongs here or in union??? Right guys and gals i need your help,i come from a small office somewhere in sunny England,we only have one rep and she's more like a mother to us than a colleague,she really is the best of all of us,however..we do have a scab problem,not a huge one but a problem all the same,today she admitted to me that although she has tried almost everthing to convince these people of thier stupidity she cannot get through to them,she also admitted to getting more and more depressed at the thought of them scabbing,Seriously people she looked close to tears!! now i know for a fact she frequents this site and she will know it's her i'm talking about cos she will recognise my username.so i ask you all, any words of support or thanks for this top draw person,she is fighting the fight with us against some of the most small minded and selfish p**cks imaginable,i for one would just like to say..............

She must try not to let them bring her down, it's hard enough being a rep without this!!!
These selfish gits won't be changed, most will not lose face and stay out, they become bloody minded.
Just laugh and joke around like you normally would and speak only about work related stuff.

Like the SS in World War 2 some people are irremediable. As she has tried everything she should hold her head high and not be in the slightest bit concerned over the soulless ones.

It might be worth while getting the strike breakers on here so that we can educate them in the only way RMC can.

She sounds like a real woman to me - strong , emotional and caring. Praise her and prize her for she is a treasure beyond belief. Whereas those who have ignored her pleas are lower than whale s**t. Don't let her feel alone 'cos there's thousands of us out here who feel just as frustrated at the strike breakers stupidity, but it is making us stronger.

What more can she do than ask these people to support `The Cause` some people I know from personal experience will not listen because at heart they are Selfish Gits, this Lady can do no more, do not let these S**** GET YOU DOWN. Continue as she has been doing and just ignore those people.

My advice is not to take on responsibilty that is not yours. You are not responsible for the strike breakers working. You duty has been to try and persuade them to support the strike. The fact that they are not supporting the fight for pay and terms indicates how thick and shortsighted they are. Continue your good work and be aware that you have more supporters than strike breakers. Your work is invaluable stay strong and proud and when this is over you will still be able to look your colleagues in the eye and feel proud. Unlike the scab feckers.

just think to yourself that these misinformed are not even worth talking too and ignore them if they are union members then sooner or later they will need your help or advice then it's "pay back time" it's only then they will realise that 'unity is strength' just ignore and wait it's hard to do but be strong and it will turn full circle

Being a rep is a thankless task at the best of times,even more so during industrial action,any rep feeling the pressure during these times has my sympathy,the amount of crap RM are throwing around right now is making the job virtually impossible for decent and able reps.

The vast majority of unit reps work incredibly hard,most of the time they're as much in the dark as the rest of us about what's going on during this strike,but we still expect them to have the answers to all our questions.

strike breakers are beyond redemption,no rep should give them a second thought,they're not gonna change their mind despite all the arguments in the world stating our case.put them out of your mind,they don't exist.

Pistol tell your rep she's doing a good job,everyone needs a bit of encouragement,some people take it all to heart and a friendly word can make all the difference,tell her she's doing a good job,tell her you support her and get your mates to do the same,its gonna be a long and difficult dispute this is,and the last thing the union needs is decent and capable people resigning their reps positions because they feel they don't get enough support.

Support your local reps(the heart and lungs of the union),they do their best for you,it's not difficult to give a little back is it?
