That may be true but understand that the CWU too knows changes have to come and jobs go. It can't be all things to all men and consider too that so many jobs now have no union involvement at all. Reps on a local level, with a few exceptions do a hell of a lot on their own time to help others.

The idiots that try to jump on Dingo for ALL their groans end up cutting everyone elses throats and you end up with a situation where no one willing to speak to you or for you. I've been here long enough to remember when this forum was ALL CWU. Now its against the union (mostly) and that makes it small, ineffectual, isolated and frankly pointless. If no one is listening, and I see no indication that they are, you might just as well all meet up in a phone box.

I'm very thick skinned. Most know that by now but I don't spend every waking hour moaning and whinging. Jeez I worked with enough cretins like that. They talk the talk and walk the walk but do nothing. Period. :so there

As a source of information for the postal worker, it is the best site on the web NT.From info posted on here local colleagues have received thousands of pounds of money they would not have got .
Postal workers now are being issued with spikies for icy conditions, where were they first recommended ? here on rmc
I could go on and on.If anyone thinks this website is pointless they are mistaken.Information on here is garnered and then disseminated to colleagues across the uk and is then spread exponentially.Undoubtedly interest from your average postie will rise and fall according to the peaks and troughs of the business particularly in relation to industrial relations.Importantly it is free from influence and a forum for free speech .Proof of that is you Night Tonic.

Well said Wessex. There is more information on here than on our own CWU website members section, and whats more people with a great deal of wit, sincerity and helpfulness towards colleagues. The administrators should be applauded for their work and time hosting this great site.
