Busiest day of the week on a Saturday!!! 4hrs 15mins of utter misery in the freezing cold 
The packets this year are an absolute joke, i'm hoping to christ people are ordering early and they'll calm down a bit nearer xmas but i can't see it

Well, did try to phone t he office to see if we were to go in,--snow impossibly deep, and couldn't get car out, so no answer. trudged the two miles to the depot in knee high snow---and got sent home again. Even our local health centre has had to cancel all appointments as Doctors couldn;t get in! So, a fairly good/bad day!!-

I drunk s**t loads of coffee.
Had a snowball fight in the yard,prepped about 20 flats and generally messed about until management sent us all home....happy days.

About 3hrs 40 mins today. Packets were not as bad as the last few days. One or two gaps. It tried to snow as we were leaving the office, but hasn't stuck. Cold all day.

Looks like it's going to absolutely batter it down with snow here tonight, which means we won't be going out tomorrow or Wednesday. We did half of our walks today so just imagine how much mail will be in the fittings by Thursday. Worse if you've got double-slots. I don't see how it will ever get delivered. I'm not doing overtime, the walk's big enough as it is.

Im on a drive again(rest day cover)and was done just after mid-day

4 hours 45 mins delivering. Packets not too bad but an absolute avalanche of flats. Bundle after bundle of solid, heavy, cellophane-wrapped shite. Managed to stay upright though. Lino's gonna have some big claims coming his way tomorrow morning

Are you lot not going out doing rural Northumberland walks or something? We went out today, into the lovely Tyneside winter, snowed all day, then hailed, then sleeted. Got knocked on my arse by an avalanche of melting snow from a roof. I was lucky as some of the avalanches had brought down slates and guttering. The pavements were piled with snow brushed from peoples cars and the aforementioned deluges from roofs so going was difficult and occasionally slippery. One of the easiest walks in the office and i still went over.

They sent us out today after not sending us out on Saturday. I guess the risk assessment parameters were hastily changed at some point, because on Saturday we had a few inches of snow, by the end of today we were posting in a blizzard with what must have been 7/8 inches of the mother frakking stuff. I wait with great interest to see what happens tomorrow - as the snow continues to lazily descend from the heavens . . .
