Dad was a teenager during WWII made money apparently by selling shrapnel. He then did a bit as a builders mate, left to Join up.

I can understand what your ex looked like she was from the wrong side of the Pennines. Most yorkshire lasses are beaut but do speak their mind a bit. Or am I just a bit of a mysognist.

Kind of a boring, rather light day with no picket lines to attend or bonfires to keep going. started at 5am and finished at 1pm same as every other ffing day up here :wave :wave Perhaps a few of us could have invites to the London picket lines if you get the go ahead before us   Hope to see a bit more mail later in the week so that we can have a few cut-offs and see those idle barsteward managers getting out and doing a bit
Another 4 new managers started this week to run a 2 manager office .Must say something about their competency or lack of??
1 of them is a college kid of about 24 and is very popularly descibed as The lighthouse in the Desert = VERY BRIGHT BUT F**K ALL USE!

Is this a record as we have now had 12 managers proper to our office(on top of the 200 during strikes) in a 12 month span and we're only a small office(112)

What an effing day!!

Post by POSTMAN »

Woke up,fell down the stairs, carpet burns on me elbow and nicked me ankle.
Hobbled into work,loads of s**t,got a cold and a cough,wore me shorts,froze me nuts off for the 1st 2hrs.
Sweated me kads off for the next 1hr-15mins.
Off now to buck up me decorating as the carpet is in me hallway as it has come too early.
Probably ponder while i'm painting what to do with me 92p (before tax) pay rise.

Film at 11. :d'oh!
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
