I can understand your criticisms, but some people MAY need the money more than they need the goodwill and respect of their comrades. I certainly wouldn't judge anybody ill for grabbing some extra pennies if they were desperate.

well if it was someone struggling and doing loads of OT in their own office then maybe
as opposed someone who is 'in' with the managers and has it cushy

linos practically begging posties to do sunday packets - yet the same linos 1minute check you during the week on frames that are rammed - Common sense + RM simply DO NOT GO .... Dont get me started on the planners when I seen the calls on there pc - no pathways driveways etc etc taking into account - Shambolic company all round .. some heads surely have to roll at mismanagement levels at the shambles this has caused LOL

As craig revel horwood would say on strictly - A-MA-ZING! Over 70 guys working in the easy yesterday my mate says, some getting 2 hours travelling time each way from paisley and 8 hours sched att too.

So, 70 guys @ 11 bucks an hour = 770 quid

times by say 8 hours equals.......em......hum.....doh..ah, £6160 quid, for the day!

Today, place is rammed wi agency guys and TEN planners comin in this week to test loops and reaccess the whole thing, on the plus side, boss reckons we will be up to date by wednesday- hes a character! This time next year, we will be millionaires

It does seem like there is a shortage of planners in some places and a dearth in others......................bit strange that really..........apparently the farther North you go the more planners there are You would think with all the revisions going in there would be planners to spare wouldn't you? We had at least three, and that was just the revision....................there was about 8 of them round the table the other day planning the WSM........
