Labrador and Alsation have bitten me.

I am ok with most dogs but Alsation do scare me. Never like those breed.

Dislike Jack Russell as well.

In 5 1/2 years been bitten 11 times. Last 2 years were bite free, so work out that average. Love dogs & most of them love me. Been bitten by most things. Alsatian, latest & worse one. RM actually took me to A&E for that one. Spaniel, labrador, jack russell, yorkie etc. The best one had to be a (cant spell this) chiwowa? Best of all it had no teeth! How was i to know at the time. Dropped my bag on it & off through the gate. Find the small breeds are more likely to bite but the big ones cause the damage.

The one German Shepherd that i encounter is all bark and no bite, folk have passed by saying im mad going in the gate, but it's all bluff on the dogs part. And Collies def go for your back end, unfortunately people think its funny but it still leads to a trip to the A&E where some poor nurse has to tend to a sweaty postie's backside.

Been in the job nearly two years now, never been bit by a dog but had a few close shaves. Never encountered a Border Collie or Norfolk Terrier that has been happy to see me. One house has two Norfolks that go mental as soon as they see me coming down the street, so much so that they turn on each other and have a little scrap, i always find that funny! :Very Happy Staffies, Bullies and the other "Fighting" breeds are very hit and miss, they either want to rip you to shreads or lick you to death, very little middle ground. I Never feel comfortable around Husky type dogs. Rotties and Dobermans I find quite placid more often than not.

I like dogs as i've always owned one, but i don't think i could make a Collie play nice even if i had a string of sausages in my pouch!

Have been a postie for 14 years now and have been on the receiving end of many a nip! The worst offenders for me are standard poodles, nasty buggers they are! Also been nipped by about 4 different westies in total although a nice sharp kick normally sees them off! The biggest rule i find with dogs is never turn your back on them, thats when they bite!! :no no

Do you throw it in the river?

Collies run if you snarl back at em mostly alsations just keep coming they will cross enemy fire in battle situations the most loyal dog but they tend just to hold you or your sleave now a badly treated rotty will have yer arm off ,Westies and Russels are just a pain but i do love dogs in general and cats

A good technique for getting rid of a dog, is to pretend to pick up something off the ground and make a throwing motion at the dog,
it pretty much always worked for me :Very Happy
when it didn't ... my Magnums came into play (size 10's, not the .44 variety) :dance
