Can we the members not call a general meeting before it is to late and yank Billy Hayes head out the sand and burn his Royal Mail duvet.

Ive heard hes taken down his framed picture of the queen in his office and replaced it with a diva style framed Moya Greene portrait.

Surely there's something we can do we are the union not Billy or Dave without us there roles are pointless although there pointless now anyway.

And Billy Hayes born and bread in a militant city were the working class will fight if they believe an injustice is taking place i hope he feels embarrassed.

Remember your roots Billy and what you believe in FFS.

Come on chaps let the voice of RMC be heard it has to start somewhere why not from here.

Copperas Hill has closed! Billy serves no useful purpose. Exactly who would replace the union leadership, surrounded by psychopants, but more of the same. There's only one place to hit 'em that will make them sit up and take notice and you know what that is. Forget the become involved brigade.

:no no Nooooo, the idea is to get the weight off the back.
I started this thread on it,while nothing seems to be concrete,i will try to sort out at my place that the van will have to stop/go over ground again to theses type of calls.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Day six .The Barrow office is starting to lose it's discipline . The majority are now working through their brakes and using bags instead of trolleys , I don't know if one or two are still using their own cars but they were earlier in the week . I don't understand this becauase when we were on strike no one went in and there was strong Solidarity .One good point people are still cutting off if they don't want the overtime .

If it comes to job losses I just know that the people doing the job right will be the ones who will get finished . This is where the pressure to cut corners starts becauase at the end of the day I don't want to lose my job . I think the park and loop would work well if we were given realistic targets . Our union rep is off at the moment hopefully when he comes back we can start banging some sense into the people taking short cuts .

Postcomm wil be involved soon. There are so many revisions failing that the USO isn't being fulfilled in some areas, and RM is very close to being hit with fines. This is why some revisions are currently being delayed, RM can't afford more failures.

At the end of the day I do want Royal Mail to be a brilliant service it once was , and even now with all the s**t thats going on I still can't think of a job I would rather do . But at the moment we have probably got the worst upper management that as ever run a business and a goverment intent on selling us off. With every month that passes the destruction of the Royal Mail becomes more complete . Maybe a bit melodramatic but it's how I feel .

I've lost the duty I was doing in the repick . I live on my old duty and we have just got our mail about 1 hour ago , so 14.20 on a Saturday . I couldn't resist and shouted out the window " what time do you call this " . I was in Mon , Tues and Wed on park and loop and was getting finished between 3 and 4pm . I'm in the same opinion as skull give us an achievable work load and park and loop will work .

Postcomm are one of the main reasons RM is in this state . They just haven't let Rm play on a level playing field with it's competitors . Then about a week ago Postcomm decide their going to lift some of the restrictions on Rm so it can compete , I wonder why they have done that , oh yes privatisation , Total corruption . Top management , Postcomm and the goverment are all pissing into the same pot . I just wish they would make it less obvious .
I'm getting really wound up now so that's my last post for today .

REALLY?! :nervous WS mail will maybe save 10 minutes on a duty

Wonder if the Frames & the WS will actually match up :d'oh! Guess we might find out by March / April :cuppa
I was a bit naive , I thought we were going to get a bit more outside time but it's looks like that's not going to happen . They will just cut the inside hours and not transfer the time saved to completing a duty outside .
