Feckin horrendous down our way today.

I am a 6hrpart timer and don't IPS, but was put on IPS as soon as I walked in for 45mins. Was then expected to prep and bagup my walk, and do 2 sections of lapse. And fit a break in there.

I impressed myself even, managed to leave the 2 lapse bits for the manager, and a whole bag of my own walk too!

2 arguments with line managers.
1 argument with DOM.
1 argument with Planner.
Almost punched a mouthy teenager on his way home from school(approved)...

Apart from said redirection, It was alright at ours today, really. Apparently I dodged the bad day yesterday :Very Happy.

Did anyone else have fog all day? It felt really strange, eerie almost. It seemed as if, at every turn, I might walk into a dragon. That only ever happened when I knocked on a door, for some reason.

Busy day + a lot of stuff in the air out of work = one knacked Krussel :neutral:

About the same as yesterday, except for another briefing about the changes. Announcement made that only half the office will go live with the revision in a week or so. The rest will go live AFTER xmas.

Got back to the office today at twenty to one ten minutes earlier than last week, Hooray.
Found five different contracts of D2D stacked on my frame.
Looking forward to the argument about haveing additional prep time with my DOM next week. (not) :shock:

Really heavy WSM seems to be failing
Only one box is sequenced :roll: out of 3 walk sorting till time today

Specials were over 45 mins late coming into office.

Loads of packets and lino cant cope :nana and we still have not got to xmas pressure lol

Did half a walk on overtime. Do you think when they build new houses they are trying to make the postman's life difficult? I mean, how can one street name be assigned to two separate roads? Why don't house numbers just go in a logical sequence? Why do numbers 28 and 30 have to be hidden behind the other even numbers' gardens? Why must number 57 on one road coincide with number 57 on another road, which is likewise hidden behind gardens, and thus takes on the appearance of being the 57 on the second road when it in fact belongs to the first?

Not that it was a difficult walk, there were two houses I couldn't find whatsoever so they had to get stuffed in the end, but in terms of the length of the walk it was far shorter than mine, and if you knew it, I can well imagine it being a very short walk on a light day. Probably only had 400 calls in all (the whole walk), and not a drive in sight.
