sent a letter first class yestday morning,going to preston local needed to be there this morning and guess what it hasnt arrived.had the company on my case now saying i owe them £45 as it needed to get there by 3pm today.what is the compo on this 6 1st class stamps or can i be entitled to the funds i might have to owe them.

to have any compo paid you need to provide proof of posting and proof of the items value maximum comp for first class is 39.00 and your postage costs ,anyway at the moment we would say it is delayed and we allow a period of 15days from the day it was due to arrive after that if it still has,nt arrived we then class it as lost and that is when you can make your claim as we cant track 1st class post hope this helps

hi customer services here, from our complaints calls /abuse it would appear to be not just dundee in trouble but the whole network, is there something going on that we dont know about and any news as to which call centres will close no one seems to know anything and my customer complaints are getting more abusive,aggressive and one was even going to punch the posties lites out the other day, wasnt standing for that so rang posties dom gave nice customers details just in case, and its not even christmas yet

crikey, iv heard folk are comin from farther up north than inverness to dundee on sunday, ALL OVERTIME UNTIL XMAS IS SCHEDULED ATTENDANCE, ID ASK ANYONE TO COME AND FILL THERE BOOTS, it would be diff if it was over ind action, ,but come on down, the price IS right.

I would much rather leave Dundee East to sort it out without outside help.
There are major problems here that can lead to major problems elsewhere
and by helping out Dundee East it will allow RM to impose there sh*t on
other DO's and then call on other frontline troops to come in and reduce the mess
at the expense of some docket.
What happens when the mess is finally cleared? Does Dundee East carry on
with their impossible rounds and heavy handed management to force it through?
I can only assume that the top two, Donny & Moya, dont have a clue about it
since RM are offering SA, travelling time plus travelling allowance to bring
outsiders up to Dundee. The cost must be astronomical and yet RM are doing
nothing but shaking there heads and muttering Teething problems.

Totally agree with you , more bullying by managers in Dundee East today. I don't think anyone should be helping these bullying managers out of the utter shambles they have gotten us into.

We went into revision 2 weeks ago, there are midnight shifts, overtime by the scoop, I had a tracked item delivered at about 4pm today and was asked if I wanted to work today and tomorrow........I didn't

4 planners here all week, and as i said, overtime , even with the whole o scotland helping us, with over 40 in again tomorrow, which is the 3rd sunday on the trot, nothing has changed re mail and packets.
Management know it 6 weeks til crimbo, and the DD5 SECTOR IS ONE OF THE BUSIEST IN THE UK, its very affluent, i reckon it will not be cleard til spring time, and the amount of volunteers will dwindle, and all those managers who are there from all around the area, will soon get fed up also.

Tell ya what, id go to any other office in the area that puts this revision is, christ, your getting travelling time both ways, and because your from outwith the ara, its 2 in a van delivering packets, whick equals around 24 quid an hour, which is unsustainable long term, add the crew buses of agency guys from edinburgh/livi way?

Somethins gotta give, and even wi a new dom darling here from the capital 7 days a week,its not goin ti plan!

Either the walks are chopped in half, or we continue as is!
Lots of us are too long in the tooth to take the s**t from them, and the media are fully on our side, so we wont buckle, AND we are gettin the 600 quid this tuesday, thank you.

My office is already in a mess and our revision is a few months away yet packets left for over a week leters not sorted 'en mass' cut offs every, day managers shipped out to help other offices had a few from the local mail centre so the revision is going to be fun this 'solution' is a joke............. time methinks Higson & co were brought to book
