This film has about the best bit on the newspapers you could possibly see:

it's always been a tory rag. Murdochs getting nowt from me,never has never will do. Dont forget , the dominant culture is that of the dominant class. All the forces of the state,including the media will be ranged against the cwu if required,remember the miners strike, Orgreave, mounted police, troops in police uniforms with no id numbers. Still not to worry , dont think stockpiling two years worth of mail will help to break our strike.

REMEBER THOUGH WHEN WE DO BOYCOTT ALL THESE PLACES LET THEM KNOW WE ARE DOING IT AND WHY WE ARE DOING IT. I RECEIVED AN APPLICATION FORM TO TAKE OUT A GOLDFISH CREDIT CARD. SAW THAT THEY WERE USING UK MAIL SO I WROTE TO THEM TELLING THEM WHY I WOULD NEVER AND WILL NEVER USE THEM.

This thread is excellent.

I have not bought the Sun now for over 4 years as the paper is s**t anyway! As well as being one of Leightons papers it is so anti-union. It is an exaggerated peice of crap, as well as the news of the world. I do not have sky neither!!!

I read The Mirror and watch Freeview!!!

I stopped buying it years ago, i do get the times /sunday times now and again.

I use virgin for my tv internet phone all for Â£30 a month +call charges.

CWU are the union for virgin staff!

Therefore i am supporting CWU members, sky workers are not cwu members as far as i know !

Yeah, also forgot to mention Virgin for my b/band and landline, Orange and o2 for mobiles. (sometimes I need a spare if you know what I mean) LOL!!!!
