Im a bit crap at understanding stuff like this...

My tax code is 0656L...can i get some wonga?!

Edit- Just called them,my code is wrong but its only pennies over the year apparantly.

I doubt you will get any money back with a code like that...........infact you may owe them

just rang up, my tax code is 647l got it changed to 653l, they said they only allow £60 for cleaning uniform. Is this right ? spoke to colleagues at work and they tax code of 660l ?????

I was told the allowance was £120 a year, did you tell them it was a Uniform with a logo, that makes a difference I think

Was also told that my uniform allowance was incorporated within that tax code.

yes told them it was with a logo, they said if you don't have a logo there is no payment. They said the only way to find out how other people have the 660l code is to get them to ring up and see what allowances they get. Any takers ?
