It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Breaks in Mail Centres
Attendance length 7 hours 1 minute to 8 hours 59 minutes = total breaks 40 minutes (probable pattern 40 mins, or 20 + 20 mins).MichaelD47567 wrote:Could someone tell me if you do 8 hrs overtime what is your enlitlement regarding breaks
Way Forward Agreement, Section 5. Meal Breaks

Re: Breaks in Mail Centres
Nor do we..
8 hour shift.... 1 break of 1 hour.
8 hour shift.... 1 break of 1 hour.
And after a while, you can work on points for style,
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake,
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile.
You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.

Think we need to flag this up, we shouldn't get less when working the same hours.POSTMAN wrote:Deliveries get 40mins for a 8hr shift.

Is it any wonder the MCs can't get our post out to us if they're always on a break
