Try kicking them, Cat boots and Dr Martins are great for repelling angry dogs :dance

Spray the mutt with Vicks Sinex,it drives them crazy and gives you the chance to back away

If said in all seriousness then perhaps you have some issues to address.

I have no issues with most dogs, the ones to consider are the really large and dangerous ones, usually owned by "hard men" I have come across them too often, they make those dogs aggressive and dangerous, sometime its them who should be given "special" treatment.

Even then big dog when they turn are unstoppable, Akita, Doberman, Rottweilers and American Pitbulls are potentially lethal breeds.
