no toilet or wash facilities built into duties when your 10mls from office .and i aint dropping my meal relief for anything when revision eventually comes in and we cant just p*** in the street either

dont see what the rush was for, it was going to be a complete shambles if they brought it in to quickly, it will still be a bit of a shambles initially whenever it comes in but its just not something you do half baked and hashed in

Been told today no revisions introduced before Xmas period - Is it due to report to Divisional reps - Doubt it.

Not sure Fishtank - My bloods been rising all day at how members are being treated in the units where revisions have been introduced so I didn't take it all in.

Would think, given mess in Dundee East, that it means all Scotland.

Our revision is going ahead on the 15th so not all of Scotland!
Although they are only doing half the office.

Rumour has it that Area Delivery Rep told DSM today if existing revisions not fixed during and before end of 6 week Post Implementation Review to duty holders satisfaction he is going back to his duty and taking no further part in future revisions which are destined to fail.

After the horse has bolted RM only now believe the CWU may have a point in the planner spending meaningful time speaking to the duty holder to ensure delivery points properly sequenced, and frame plan correct, loops achievable and delivery span doable with the golf trolley which slows the speed. RM confusion over arse n elbow only too evident to date.

Our planner has been there long enough to walk test all the deliveries. needless to say he's never been outside.

Real and present danger that the Unions credibility is at stake if revisions are forced in under any other conditions.

It already is for me, love hearing our 'leaders' say "modernisations a sucess." Really.

It's a big office thats always been split in 2 with 2 diffrent primaries, to many duties for 1.
Usually a revision goes live across the whole office at the same time though, but not this time. i don't know (other than whats on here) whats happening at Dundee east but they appear to be shitting themselfs as a result.
There insane to be doing revisions right before Christmas anyway, let alone revisions this big, and in lots of offices.

Like ours over 200 duties at present apparently we are likely to loose 40 of them - when we get our revision it'll be spread over months rather than weeks.

Quick calculation, equates to about 40 min extra work for those left.
3.30ish + 40 mins + packets & specials & tracked = new revision duty roughly.

Unfortunately you haven't factored in the use of trolleys which on average adds about 30-40 mins per duty.
You are looking realistically at just over 5hrs...but RM don't do realism so they'll be sold as 4.30.
